About the event
Farm School for Tot's will be held on two separate days within a single month, from October 2022 through April 2023. Farm School is a hands-on, animal interactive, program on our family-owned farm that allows your child the opportunity to learn by doing. Each month / session will follow the schedule found here.
Week One:
This week we will focus on learning about Turkeys, Chickens & Ducks. How they are similar & how they are different. We will feel their feathers, point out the physical differences we can see, and compare their egg's size, shape and colors. We will have a variety of sensory and sorting bins as well as an open ended craft / play time.
Week Two:
We will learn about goats and sheep this week. How they are similar and how they are different. How their coats feel, how their eyes look, what they eat & what they produce for us. Children will have the opportunity to simulate "milking a goat" and to taste raw goat milk, (with the consent of their parents). We will have  a variety of sensory and sorting bins as well as an open ended craft / play time.
