Hook & Chains

Ms. Kailey's Hook & Chains is an Intermediate Crochet Class for Ages 7+

In this multi-course class, students will learn how to read a crochet pattern in order to make a simple and cute octopus. This course is designed for those that already know how to do the basics in crocheting, such as doing a single crochet stitch. If you are just learning how to crochet, I HIGHLY recommend taking my beginner class first. It will teach you the very basics of crocheting!

We will learn about how to do the basic stitches that are often used in amigurumi, such as making a magic circle, the single crochet increase and decrease.

We will be all learning how to make a cute crocheted octopus! We will use the techniques learned in the class and build on that to make an octopus, along with learning a few more stitches, such as crocheting in the back loops and doing a half double crochet.

This class is very hands on, and there will be plenty of references. I will show how to do each stitch slowly, so that it is easier to understand. Stitch Markers, Crochet Hook & Yarn provided.

Guests are responsible for full tuition, regardless of their ability to attend every class within the 12 week session. Make-up classes will only be offered in the event of incliment weather. 

• Pre-registration is required. Bottled water is provided.
• Parents / Guardians MUST stay onsite and supervise their child(ren) during the entire class for anyone under the age of 16.
• This is an OUTDOOR class, please dress accordingly and wear appropriate footwear.
• This is a working farm with livestock and other animals, a signed Release of Liability & Waiver are required from all guests.
