Growing Gardeners: Teens

Ms. Carolina will be leading this 4-week Christian-Based Gardening Class following the Campfire Curriculum.

This class is not just about growing stuff in the garden but growing your 11-17 year olds at the same time. Ultimately, the goal is teaching them to “work the ground and keep it,” to do what God created us to do, in exercising dominion and being fruitful.

This 4 week program includes:

Art projects, activities, gardening, learning the importance of growing our own foods, getting our hands in the dirt, the do's and don't with planting different kinds of plants.

During the course of the class they will be making their own mini-garden and take home their own propagated house plant.

 **Gardening gloves are not included but are recommended as we will be getting our hands into good soil!

*Children will have direct contact with fruits vegetable and different nuts. Please inform us of any food allergies.

Guests are responsible for full tuition, regarless of their ability to attend every class within the 4 week session. Make-up classes will only be offered in the event of incliment weather. 

• Pre-registration is required.
• This is an OUTDOOR class, please dress accordingly and wear appropriate footwear.
• This is a working farm with livestock and other animals, a signed Release of Liability & Waiver are required from all guests.
