Growing Gardeners: Fall Edition

Ms. Carolina will be leading this 6-week Christian-Based Gardening Class. 

  This class is not just about growing our food in the garden but growing an appreciation for the food God has given us. Ultimately, the goal is teaching them to “work the ground and keep it,” to do what God created us to do, in exercising dominion and being fruitful. 

  Every 6 weeks we will have a diffrent theme. Fall, Winter, Spring, each week we will learn about specific topics as well as incorperate crafts, projects, take home seeds, seedlings, and plants. This is a hands on class. 

This 6 week program includes:  Fall Theme

• Week 1- How plants grow/ square foot garden - Parts of a pumpkin craft, grass head project.

• Week 2- Composting and Worms - Bring something to compost from your kitchen, make a worm farm in a jar.
