About the event
Bushcraft Bootcamp is an engaging, hands-on outdoor program for kids ages 8–14, designed to teach practical wilderness skills while building confidence and respect for nature. Each monthly session focuses on a new bushcraft topic—like shelter building, firecraft, tracking, or foraging—through fun, safe, and age-appropriate activities. Kids will earn themed badges, grow their outdoor knowledge, and become more capable and curious adventurers.
Each session will consist of 4- 4 hour long classes, held weekly, on specified Tuesdays, from 9:00am - 1:00pm.
This is a drop-off class taught by Mr. Jake Pruitt
Session 2: Water Sourcing & Purification
10/7 - Identifying safe water sources
10/14 - Boiling, Filtering & Chemical Treatment
